DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS

HUMAN RIGHTS

We respect non-negotiable human rights. We take responsibility for
our employees and society.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY

Our responsibility includes both our own business activities and those of our
Partner. We take into account, among other things:

  • Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations (UN)
  •  UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP)
  •  labor and social standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO)
  • Principles of the UN Global Compact
  • Laws of the Federal Republic of Germany

 

Our code is the binding guideline for our actions. We support our
employees to act responsibly and with integrity

STANDARD

We assume that our business partners in the EU act in the same way and that we
therefore do not conduct any active investigation.
For non-EU partners, we oblige our business partners to comply with the
Human rights standards through our Partner Guidelines; it defines
Minimum requirements for social and environmental standards.
These mainly concern:

  •  No Child labor
  •  Adequate wages and social benefits
  •  compliance with statutory working hours
  • No modern slavery
  •  Ethical Recruitment
  • freedom of association
  •  non-discrimination and harassment
  •  protection and respect for women's rights
  • safeguarding the rights of minorities and indigenous peoples
  •  Diversity, Equality and Inclusion
  •  land, forest and water rights and forced eviction

 

Human rights due diligence remains part of the compliance and
Risk management system. Internal guidelines and SOPs complement and complete the
holistic approach and responsibilities. With the help of internal
Training and internal audits will ensure the effectiveness of our policies and processes
controlled.

OMBUNDSPERSON

Employees, business partners and third parties can report suspected cases or complaints to
different channels, such as our ombudsman. All reports will be
treated confidentially and followed up. The whistleblower can remain anonymous.
