GWP understands compliance to mean adhering to all laws, regulations, guidelines, standards and contractual obligations relevant to it, as well as voluntary commitments. This also includes regulations we have set ourselves, such as the GWP Code.
In order to prevent possible risks and avert damage, GWP has set up a central compliance management system (CMS):
It includes all of GWP's organizational structures and processes. The system, which is transparent both internally and externally, offers extensive preventive options to prevent compliance risks from arising or to identify them at the earliest possible stage. The implementation of corporate governance (principles of corporate management) in day-to-day business is supported by clear rules and regulations, which all employees are trained in.
As compliance officer, Dr. Stefan Loibl is appointed as the representative of the top management for environmental, social, ethical and human rights issues. He is responsible for and monitors the areas of corporate ethics as well as social and ecological sustainability.
Responsibility and sustainability (combined under the term corporate responsibility) are the basis of our entrepreneurial activities. For us, they are key value drivers that open the way to new business models and services, enabling us to increase our value contribution to society and the environment towards a more sustainable world.
At the same time, responsibility and sustainability secure the future of our company by recognizing and specifically managing the economic, ecological and social impacts of our decisions and actions. In this way, we secure a long-term right to exist and create added value for the environment, society and the economy. Respect for human rights is an integral part of corporate responsibility.
In addition to our manual, code and laboratory regulations, our Corporate Responsibility Policy sustainably guarantees our ethical and ecological behavior.
We assume that our business partners in the EU act in the same way. Our own conduct requirements are therefore the basis of our Partner Policy.
As a basis for trusting and long-term partnerships, GWP mbH gives all suppliers, customers, business partners, employees and other interest groups the opportunity to complain. In the event of violations of laws or our own guidelines, whether justified or unjustified, you can inform us anonymously using the following link.
