Our laboratory in Saarland includes the tensile testing machine QUASAR 600 kN as the highlight of the test equipment. This machine offers the following features:
- maximum strength: 600 kN, usable in the range of 6 – 600 kN (grade 0.5), optionally extendable to 1,2 – 6 kN (grade 1)
- travel path: 1.690 mm (without clamping device) with a resolution of 0,0001 mm
- test speed: 0,0005 mm – 400 mm per minute (under full load)
- test room width (clear width) 640mm
In addition, the QUASAR 600 kN is equipped with a wedge grip and enables precise tensile tests in the specified force range.
The tensile testing machines from GALDABINI are ideal for determining mechanical and technological parameters. They are used for various test procedures such as Tensile tests, pressure tests and Bending tests used to test the quality of materials or components. Using the testing software LabTest At least the tensile force and often also the specimen elongation are determined, either by the crosshead travel or by using an extensometer.
The high-precision sensors of the tensile testing machine, including the load cell, the traverse path measurement and the EXTENSOMETER, record the measurement data at a high frequency (e.g. 500 Hz or 1000 Hz). This data is stored in the test software and visualized as columns of numbers for further evaluation and as graphs.
