BYK spectro-guide spectrophotometer

The color appearance of a surface is determined by two essential factors: Color and shineTwo surfaces with identical color but different gloss appear visually different. This perception of the human eye is determined by the 45°/0° measuring geometry simulated. In order to capture the pure color tone without optical properties such as gloss or surface structures influencing the result, the sphere measuring geometry (Ulbricht sphere) is used.

The BYK spectro-guide spectrophotometer offers both common measuring geometries and also has an integrated 60° gloss measurementwhich is sufficient for most applications
