The GWP tests the burning characteristics to UL 94 at synthetic materials for the classification of the flame resistance and fire safety. One distinguishes the test methods HB (horizontal Burn) and VB (Vertical Burn). The tests are carried out with an open flame in which the performance of the igniting source is 50 to 500 W depending on the classification.
