Rate of heat emission (MARHE)
The GWP labs offer services for the determination of the rate of heat emission according to ISO 5660-1. The samples are exposed to a constant thermal load by a radiation heater, which is located above. The intensity of the radiation depends on the device under test and varies between 25-75 kW. The rate of heat emission can be calculated by the measured oxygen consumption. For the analysis and assessment of the test, the (time) average of the rate of heat emission (ARHE), respectively its maximum value (MARHE), are considered.
Standard: ISO 5660-1
