In the past, GWP has successfully developed catalysts for the selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides with hydrocarbons (HC-SCR-DeNOx) in cooperation with the Technical University of Munich. One focus of this development was the selection of a suitable catalyst using evolutionary strategic and deterministic algorithms. The optimal combination of carrier material and promoters from hundreds of material combinations was determined experimentally. On the basis of this experience, a high-throughput screening (HTS) system was optimized.
