Climate test | Climate change test

The standards DIN EN IEC 60068 ff, DIN EN ISO 6270-2 & various manufacturer standards define general requirements, test conditions and tests for climatic tests of electrical & electronic components, parts of motor vehicles and aircrafts, packaging & pharmaceutical products. GWP is happy to assist you in performing various tests from this spectrum of standards. Typical samples in the automotive field are for example:  PET fiber fleece, textile underbody application, floor trim, damping pans, engine shielding capsules, etc..

Your product is exposed to changing climatic conditions that may occur during its service life. For example, influences that affect a product during production, transport, storage and operation are simulated. These influences permanently change the service life, functionality and properties of your products. To ensure product quality, optimization and component service life, tests according to standardized test norms are therefore essential.

Climate tests are universally applicable and relevant for many different products. GWP tests for you, for example, the protective function of metal packaging and paper packaging for food, tobacco & confectionery against oxygen and moisture ingress. The protective effect of plastic packaging for pharmaceutical products is tested with regard to mechanical loads, such as tensile, compression, bending forces, hardness, tightness, adhesive strength, tear and tear propagation behavior as well as puncture resistance, and climatic resistance through accelerated aging tests and the evaluation of material stability with regard to climatic loads. GWP also tests, among other things, the climatic stability of organic and inorganic or galvanic surface coatings, as well as the dimensional stability of various components under climatic influence using photogrammetry.

Among others, GWP tests in the flexibly accredited area of the environmental simulation laboratory according to the following standards:
DIN EN 60068-2-30 :2006-06, IEC 60068-2-30 :2006-06, DIN EN 60068-2-38 :2010-06, IEC 60068-2-38 :2010-06, DIN EN 60068-2-14 :2010-04, IEC 60068-2-14 :2010-04, DIN EN 60068-2-1 :2008-01, IEC 60068-2-1 :2008-01, DIN EN 60068-2-2 :2008-05, IEC 60068-2-2 :2008-05, MIL STD 810-H :2019-01, RTCA DO160G :2010-12, DIN EN ISO 6270-2 :2018-04, BMW PR 303.5 :2010-01, BMW PR 308.2 :2006-04, VW PV 2005 :2000-09, VW PV 1200 :2004-10
