Determination of the odor behavior of materials used in vehicle interiors according to VDA 270
For testing, components are stored in odor-free jars with or without the addition of water in a heating cabinet at an elevated temperature. After cooling, the emitted odor is assessed by independent qualified testers according to an evaluation scale specified in the standard.
