The DIN EN ISO 2812 standard describes test methods for the resistance of coatings to chemical substances. It defines procedures for testing how well coatings resist liquids and other chemical media such as acids, alkalis and solvents. This standard is central to the quality control and assurance of coatings, particularly in the construction and automotive industries and in other industrial areas in which surfaces are protected by coatings.
