The GWP offers comprehensive investigations in the field of light microscopy. Using the latest technology and various optical contrasting methods, such as brightfield and darkfield illumination, polarized light and interference contrast according to Nomarski, the GWP analyzes the microstructures of materials such as steels, non-ferrous alloys and CFRP.
Thanks to an automatic scanning table, section sizes of up to 100 x 100 mm can be fully captured, which facilitates phase determination and pore analysis across the entire cross-section. In this way, GWP ensures a precise and comprehensive evaluation of metallographic sections for its customers.
