Metal analyses: chemical, spectral analyses and instrumental methods
We offer comprehensive metal analyses including chemical analyses, spectral analyses and modern instrumental techniques. Our services include classical wet chemical methods. We break down metals and alloys into their components and then precisely analyse their concentrations.
Our advanced analytical methods include:
Spark spectral analysis is the most common method for determining the composition of metals precisely. With our modern spark spectrometer, we can determine the chemical composition of unknown metals and alloys with high precision. For this purpose, we use the stationary metal analyzer SpektroMaxx from the company Spectro.
For spectral analysis, we take small samples from your workpieces. We then analyze these samples in the spectrometer. Smaller components can even be analyzed directly on site.
We offer reliable material analyses, which also include the necessary sample preparation. We cut and grind your samples accordingly. Our test reports show the elements determined and the contents in mass%. We also offer a comparison to the target composition or to other comparable materials.
In our modern metal analysis laboratory we have comprehensive equipment that enables us to carry out precise analyses of a wide variety of metallic samples. Our wide range of analysis techniques includes spark spectral analysis, X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and trace analysis.
